This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Thanks as always Meg. Glad to hear the meetings are kicking up some activity over there, maybe a chat about group mentality is in order shortly, you can sidestep all the obstacles I ran into back here then!
Ahhh nope, no computers (except on tree and fleur). The only time these images touch digital is when they are scanned for web/portfolio use. It's all good old fashioned RA4 colour chemistry and some long winded hand printing techniques that I use. No great shakes, but very effective.
I like 'Brian' best too in all honesty. I just got a new scanner so I will hopefully be able to put some of my other work up over the next few weeks!
It's funny that you mention the work looking like paintings as my influence for this stuff comes from the photo secession movement (big fan of Edward Steichen) and other pictorialist photographers like Julia Margaret Cameron. If you don't know them I suggest you search them out, I think it's about time their aesthetic was revisited.
Later Meg.
